Track #6 Explanation! Growing up, The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings were Jason's favorite stories (still are!). So Jason and Paul thought it would be a good idea to make as much fun of LoTR as possible and make Tolkien spin in his grave. The Smeagol impression is pure Jason. Also, in the movie, Gandalf pronounces the Sindarin word for friend as 'bellok,' which is why we pronounced it like that in the song, but everyone of course knows the real spelling and pronunciation is 'mellon.' Lyrics! Gandalf, what's the Elvish word for friend? BELLOK! Mae govannen, motherfuckers! Lacho calad! Drego morn! Frodo and his chums set out from Rivendell Let's hope the Ringbearer does not fail Saruman's being a big fucking bastard So the Fellowship needs to get to Mordor faster A Elbereth Gilthoniel! A Menel Paran Diriel! Gandalf prefers the Pass of Caradhras Boromir goes for the Gap of Rohan Gimli says let's mosey on to Moria But you can tell Gandalf ain't no fan Just don't go to Moria Those damn dwarves dug too deep Make haste to the Bridge of Khazad-dum If not the Balrog will seal your DOOM What's taters, precious? You keep nasty chips! Fly, you fools! Gandalf?
